Since 2008, Halma has been operating in India to provide innovative products and services, including niche technologies that are helping solve many of the key problems - from water pollution to chronic illnesses.

With around 45 companies operating independently in more than 20 countries, including 25 companies in India, we provide smart and sustainable solutions across sectors:

Prasenjit Datta

Prasenjit was appointed Managing Director of Halma India in January 2014. Since then he has been chartering the growth agenda for Halma companies in India. Before joining Halma, Prasenjit was Managing Director of Brady India. Previously he has worked in Senior Management and Sales & Marketing roles at 3M and SmithKline Beecham Consumer. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Sunil Balan Sunil joined Halma India in July 2013 to primarily assist Halma in marketing the potential of Indian market within the group as well as to build the Halma brand name in India on a sustainable and long term basis. An Electrical Engineer from National Institute of Technology (erstwhile REC) Warangal and an MBA from University of Mumbai (Chetana’s RKIMR), Sunil is an experienced hand in industrial marketing having worked with Bharat Bijlee as well as a seasoned marketing communication expert having advised corporate and entrepreneurial clients on campaigns in his role as Client Servicing Director at various advertising agencies.

Ishita NandaIshita is the Talent & Culture Director for Halma India and a member of the Board of Directors, India. In her role, she is responsible for building, sustaining, and evolving a positive work environment and culture within Halma India. She leads the talent strategy and execution for India, ensuring the quality of talents remains a foundation for Halma and its group of companies’ success while also aligning with Halma’s decentralised and autonomous operations. Over the years, she has significantly contributed to the strategic growth of Halma in India and enhanced the employee experience of working for Halma group in the region. 

Ishita has over two decades of experience in varied industries like FMCG, IT, industrial and manufacturing. Having diverse market exposure adds a unique flavour to her capability, especially while managing and developing individuals with diverse mindsets. Her understanding of people’s behaviours and interest in seeing them succeed is a huge asset for effectively managing and engaging talent. Ishita holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a post-graduation in Human Resources. She also has a keen interest in various areas of psychology, especially counselling, neuro-linguistic programming, transactional analysis and rational emotive behaviour therapy.

Anu John joined Halma in October, 2015 and is responsible for the Finance, Accounting, Reporting, Compliance and Risk management functions of Halma India. Anu also supports setting up new businesses and operations though Halma hub to maximise group’s growth in India. Prior to joining Halma, Anu was working with Oracle India as Manager- Finance. Anu is a Cost Accountant (FCMA), Company Secretary, and a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA), and has extensive experience in the corporate finance domain with various organisations like UL DQS, Synergia, E&Y, and Asianet Communications.
