Our Culture

A culture where you can just be YOU.

Everyone is different. We value and develop people irrespective of their backgrounds and experiences and foster a work environment that empowers them with tools, resources, and support to be who they REALLY are.

Find out more about our initiatives and programmes that make Halma such an exciting and rewarding place to work.

We are one of the first few companies in India that introduced equal and paid parental leave. We offer an enhanced parental leave policy of 14 weeks paid leave to care for and bond with a new child. The policy covers births, surrogacy or adoptions and applies to men and women regardless of their sexual orientation.

We know that diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) require active leadership and commitment from all levels of the organisation. To facilitate this, we give our people the tools, resources and learning programmes to gain a deeper understanding of DE&I and use the learnings in their day-to-day work.

Our offices are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, fostering a work environment that prioritises quality, collaboration, innovation, and inclusion. Our work philosophy views the ‘office’ as an integral space to boost team spirit by creating a sense of belonging and increase work satisfaction.

Hiring the right talent is critical to the success of our global businesses. Our diversity strategy encourages hiring from diverse backgrounds even though the base of our recruitment decisions is always on skills, competencies, attitudes, and values. We focus on training and supporting recruiters and managers with resources that enable them to run a diverse application process, which is also inclusive and unbiased.

At Halma India, we are committed to building a workplace where everyone is treated with dignity, respect and equity, and has access to a work environment that is safe and conducive to professional growth and development. Learn about our POSH policy.

A culture of autonomy

We cultivate a culture of autonomy where trust, respect and humility form a core of who we are. As a result, our people feel empowered to explore, express and experiment at work.

Advancing gender diversity

We have continued to make significant progress on gender diversity across our organisation. By the end of March 2024, our company boards are set to achieve a 40 – 60% gender balanced range.

Everyone belongs

We are committed to fostering inclusion, acceptance, respect, and empathy where people — regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or religious persuasion — can be themselves.
