Halma opens new office in Bengaluru

Halma, the global group of life-saving technology companies, has opened another office in Bengaluru on 8 April 2022. Combined with Halma’s existing office in Prestige Shantiniketan, Bengaluru, the new facility provides approximately 42,000 square feet of additional space for Halma’s centre of excellence in research & development, engineering and IT services.
The state-of-the-art infrastructure offers a pleasant and collaborative work environment with labs for testing a wide range of products and solutions offered by Halma companies, meeting rooms and wellness hubs, including a library and meditation room. In the first phase of its launch, it will house more than 90 engineering and sales professionals from over six operating companies of Halma in India, such as Advanced, Ampac, BEA, Crowcon, Firemate, and Sofis.
“India has been identified as a strategic region for growth within emerging markets for Halma’s companies. With a growing focus on talent, marketing, supply chain and infrastructure, we aim to increase investment in the Indian market to take advantage of our expertise and resources for the benefit of the Halma group,” said Prasenjit Datta, Managing Director, Halma India.
The new space is designed with sustainability as a core principle, ensuring it is in line with Halma’s purpose of growing a safer, cleaner and healthier future for everyone, every day. For its low energy and green design concept, it is also registered for the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED gold rating certification.
Prasenjit says: “We wanted to create an innovative and sustainable space, bringing nature inside with bio-walls and plant walkways, and increasing collaboration with more spaces for creativity and working together. The new space offers a sense of innovation, while also supporting the wellbeing of our people.”
